About The Mellow SF
The Mellow SF opened in 2020 by husband & wife, Lorena & David, as a little plant shop in the Mission District. Since then, we've evolved into a community hub for coffee, cocktails, live music, a photobooth, curated retail + barbering, with 1401 Haight St. as our HQ. AM to PM good spirits 🙂
Why are you called The Mellow SF?
David & Lorena lived in a yellow Victorian in San Francisco's Ingleside neighborhood for over ten years, which they affectionately called Mellow Yellow, inspired by the Donovan song. In 2013, they named their first dog Mellow. It was a name they knew they'd never tire of and would love forever. In 2020, The Mellow SF opened its first brick-and-mortar shop!
Plant FAQs
Do you still sell plants?
Yes! Our Haight shop still has plants on display and for sale, mostly hanging 6" plants and larger 10"+ potted plants. We also carry pots and other plant-related goodies! Looking for something specific? Send us a DM for a custom plant request.
Do you still deliver plants?
Sorry, we no longer offer plant delivery!
Can I get plant care advice?
If you purchase a plant at our Haight shop, feel free to DM us with plant care questions. Our baristas may not know all the answers, but we'll do our best to help!
